I am a non-traditional student- I earned my bachelor’s in psychology and am now in a Pre- Dental Post-Baccalaureate Program. I took Biology 1 over five years ago and when I first started studying for the DAT, I was overwhelmed by the breadth of material- especially in the biology section.

I searched online for the best DAT prep course and the reviews for DATBooster far surpassed the rest. DATBooster has abundant resources that helped me customize studying to my strengths and focus on topics where I wanted more practice. There are long-form notes for each topic, condensed “cheat sheets” on the highest yield content from each section, flashcards, and practice tests for each section. DATBooster gave me all the resources to get a 23 in the biology section, a score I was really happy to see at the end of my exam!

I found the full-length tests (FLTs) to be most helpful in preparing me for the real DAT. I am very organized, and I am much more comfortable if I can predict and prepare for any roadblocks or delays. The practice FLTs were so similar to the real thing that I was totally at ease when taking the DAT. DATBooster even has the option to include the “Prometric Delay” on FLTs, which adds a 2-second delay when switching between questions. Fortunately, my Prometric center did not have much of a lag, so I had some extra time at the end of each section to review my marked questions and even draw out grids for Hole Punching before the PAT!

My general DAT prep advice: Start studying early, take full-length practice tests and use DATBooster!
