Success Stories

Don’t take our word for it. Here’s what our students have to say
Without the admission services, I truly do not believe I would have been accepted to the University of Iowa’s Dental School. This summer, I used both DAT Booster and purchased the DAT Booster Admission Services. Firstly, DAT Booster is worth way more than the asking cost. I used it 12-13 hours a day for two months until my test, and it is well worth it and provides so many examples and practice problems. After taking the DAT, I also decided to purchase the application service through DAT Booster. My personal statement became almost a work of art. Before the application service, my personal statement was average. By using the application service, you get the knowledge of individuals who’ve been on application committees, through dental school, and even specialties. You get many different perspectives, and your personal statement becomes a competitive advantage. In addition to that, they also went over my experiences, manual dexterity essay, and other parts of my application that I wanted to make as professional as possible. The Admission Services were well worth it! Without them, I truly do not believe I would have been accepted to the University of Iowa’s Dental School.

Very accommodating of my various requests and schedule. As someone who has very little experience with formal interviews, I wanted as much practice as possible. So, I used the interview service with Booster Prep and requested three mock interview sessions. Throughout these sessions, I was able to practice responding to many common dental school interview questions, received valuable feedback on my responses, received interview tips, and was able to access a recording of the session. I requested mock interviews with three individuals—two were in dental residency, and one was a current dental student. Each had their way of running the session. One was a more conversational interview, and the other interviewer gave me a summary document with my responses, their suggested responses, and feedback. All my interviewers were very friendly! They also responded within a day of purchasing the service (even on the weekend), and they had availability as early as the next day. They were very accommodating of my various requests (such as asking for a more formal interview style) and schedule. I could also email questions that I thought of after my session and received prompt responses. For my actual interview, the questions were non-traditional and not ones that I practiced during the sessions. Despite that, I believe that the sessions helped me become much more confident, improved my interview skills, developed my ability to respond under stress, and cleared up questions regarding interview day.I would recommend this service to anyone who wishes to simulate a real interview, have an experienced individual to practice with, learn and improve responses to common questions, receive feedback on the impression you give as a candidate, or understand the interview process. Their pricing is also on the low end compared to other interview preparation services for professional school admissions.

I highly recommend this program to anyone who is struggling with their application.Booster Prep was my go-to resource for application preparation. It’s easy to get overwhelmed with various applications all while studying for the DAT. Booster was able to offer me some of the most helpful professionals who were able to meet with me and go over my application and showed me how to write a great personal statement instead of a good one, because it’s the small details that matter in a student’s application. They can guide you along the process if that’s something that interests you.Along with application and personal statement help, one of my favorite services was for interview preparation. Interviews can be daunting, but with Booster’s help, I was able to gain confidence and perform mock interviews with some of their prestigious team members. The first interview is always the most difficult, but confidence is quickly gained and it’s all uphill from there. The Booster team is always available to help with any questions you may have, and they have a huge team of professionals to fit any student’s needs. I highly recommend this program to anyone who is struggling with their applications and for any student who needs to prepare for an interview before the day comes.

What are Booster's Admissions Services

Booster Prep is launching its new Admissions Services in an effort to bring simple and exceptional application preparation services to prospective students at reasonable prices. We believe that the best way to craft an excellent application is through a combination of both personalized one-on-one sessions and written edits. For this reason, our sessions focus on video sessions to brainstorm and discuss revisions as well as written feedback following each session.

Our experts come from a diverse range of backgrounds and dental institutions, ranging from those still in their training to those already in clinical practice. Our experts have been accepted into prestigious dental programs such as Harvard, UCLA, UCSF, Columbia, UPenn, Michigan, and many others. By getting to know your expert through one-on-one sessions, you will have the opportunity not only to work on your application materials, but also to ask any general questions that you might have for your expert.

The AADSAS Application service focuses not only on your personal statement but also on all other components of your application (e.g., experiences, manual dexterity prompt, COVID-19 essay, etc). The format of our services is designed to be simple – you can sign up for as many or as few sessions as you feel will be helpful and necessary!

After signing up for your desired service, you will be assigned to an expert who will typically reach out within 24-48 hours. They will work with you to find an appropriate time to schedule your first one-on-one session. Each session is comprised of an hour-long 1-on-1 video session, as well as written edits on your application materials, which will be provided to you after the video session. The Silver package comes with two sessions, while the Gold package comes with four sessions.

After signing up for your desired service, you will be assigned to an expert who will typically reach out within 24-48 hours. They will work with you to find an appropriate time to schedule your one-on-one session. Each session is comprised of a 1-on-1 meeting time as well as written edits, which will be provided to you after the video session. The number of one-on-one meetings and the number of secondary applications reviewed are determined by which of the two packages you feel best fits your needs.

After signing up for your desired service, you will be assigned to an expert who will typically reach out within 24-48 hours. They will work with you to find an appropriate time to schedule your one-on-one session. Our experts are trained in Traditional as well as Multiple Mini Interview formats; they are happy to accommodate any format of your choosing, or simply to discuss general interview preparation as some students request. We are happy to assess any specific interview questions or scenarios that you would like to review, and of course, we have plenty of our own!

In order to ensure that our experts can appropriately devote their time and energy to their students, we require that services be utilized within a 60-day window, after which any unused sessions will expire. If you anticipate that your needs will span a longer period, we ask that you please sign up only for the services needed at that time and sign up in the future for any subsequent sessions that are needed.

Sign-ups are carefully and continuously monitored to ensure that experts can devote appropriate time and energy to their students, and student/expert pairings are individually selected for each case. Refund requests can be made by emailing admissions@boosterprep.com, are only accepted within 24 hours of purchase, and are subject to a 7.5% processing fee. Refund requests made after the 24-hour window will not be accepted. For this reason, we ask that students please sign up only for as many sessions as they know they will utilize (see utilization timeframe above). Any further questions or clarifications about this policy can be directed to admissions@boosterprep.com.

In order to ensure that our experts can devote sufficient time to their students, we ask that rescheduling requests be made at least 24 hours before the agreed-upon meeting time. No-shows without notice will be subject to forfeiture of the session without the opportunity to reschedule.
