"Thanks to DATBooster, I was able to score a 450 Academic Average (AA) and a 460 Total Science (TS) with just 8 weeks of focused studying. I highly recommend DATBooster to anyone preparing for the DAT, especially those who may be returning to the material after time away from coursework.”
As a nontraditional pre-dental student currently in the middle of a gap year, I was initially nervous about taking the DAT. It had been a while since I completed many of the prerequisite courses, and I felt overwhelmed by the sheer volume of material the exam covers.
I ended up using DATBooster as my sole study resource and followed an 8-week study plan. I watched nearly all of the videos for Biology, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry. The videos were concise yet thorough, making it easier for me to quickly relearn and solidify key concepts. I also completed 75% of the Bio Bits, the entire Organic Chemistry question bank, and almost all of the General Chemistry question bank. These practice questions were not only high-yield but also extremely representative of the actual DAT content.
Biology was the most overwhelming section for me due to the breadth of content. I attended a DATBooster Biology Crash Course, which clarified difficult topics and even covered several concepts that showed up on my actual exam. This crash course played a key role in my success and helped me earn a 480 in the Biology section.
The full-length practice tests were another crucial part of my preparation. I completed all 10 of them, in addition to 5 subject-specific practice exams in Biology and Organic Chemistry. I found the practice exams to be incredibly similar in format and difficulty to the real DAT.
Thanks to DATBooster, I was able to score a 450 Academic Average (AA) and a 460 Total Science (TS) with just 8 weeks of focused studying. I highly recommend DATBooster to anyone preparing for the DAT, especially those who may be returning to the material after time away from coursework.
