As a nontraditional applicant, I found the OAT to be the most intimidating part of applying to optometry school. I graduated from college six years ago and have been working full-time since, and I only recently returned to school to complete my science and math prerequisites.

 I used OATBooster as my primary study resource from May until my test in August,  studying around 20 hours per week while working full-time. Because of my busy schedule, I knew I wouldn't have the time to follow OATBooster's full study schedule exactly. But what I loved about the platform was that I didn't have to.  By the time I took my final practice tests, I was scoring between a 320 and a 340. When I finally took the OAT in August, I felt prepared rather than overwhelmed, knowing that I had worked so hard that summer. For any nontraditional student looking at the OAT and wondering how they’re going to learn (or relearn) such a vast amount of material, OATBooster made the process feel manageable and gave me all of the tools and confidence I needed to succeed. I ended up exceeding my score goals, earning a 360 AA and a 350 TS, with perfect scores in a couple of sections.
