The Official ADA DAT Practice Tests

The ADA now offers a single practice test featuring questions written by actual DAT test constructors. The purpose of this ADA DAT practice test is to help test takers understand the types of questions that appear on the Dental Admission Test (DAT), an essential exam for gaining admission to dental schools. Many schools provide dental education programs, and we are here to help you prepare for the DAT testing center!

I. Comparison with the Real DAT

Based on our experience, prospective dental students who have used this practice test during their DAT prep often claim it is much easier than the questions that you can expect in the actual test center. That said, since the DAT questions in this practice test are created by the actual DAT test constructors, they provide valuable practice for dental school test prep experience. 

II. Tips for Taking the Test

The current cost of the test is $20 per module, where each module represents various sections of the DAT for a total of 8 modules. It is recommended that you take the test in simulated exam conditions so that your result is accurate to the actual DAT exam.
