"With the help of DATCrusher, I was able to get into the University of Western Ontario’s dental school on my first try and I am immensely grateful!"
Studying for the DAT as a first time test-taker and dental school applicant felt extremely daunting. I had no idea where to start, how to structure my studying while balancing summer school and volunteering, and how to gauge how prepared I was. DATCrusher gave me a solution to all of my concerns, and I finally found confidence in my studying.
DATCrusher provided detailed schedules that helped me structure my own study timeline. Following their study plan week-by-week gave me a clear vision of my own progress and helped me make sure that I wasn’t falling behind. With that being said, DATCrusher also allows for flexibility; when certain days felt tougher than others, I moved certain tasks around and utilized DATCrusher’s multiple study tools to make studying feel fun, such as their Weekly Bio Bits Leaderboard (timed quizzes that feel like a mini-game!). DATCrusher’s lecture videos and notes were also structured in a way that emphasized high-yield information which prevented me from feeling overwhelmed and experiencing burnout.
With DATCrusher, I was able to monitor my own progress from the first day I started studying all the way to my test day. Their high-yield practice tests were not only extremely accurate to the real test, but also provided detailed analyses of my strengths and weaknesses. This greatly helped me narrow down which topics I knew well and which areas needed more work. The PAT section was particularly intimidating as a first time test-taker, but DATCrusher’s PAT generators allowed me to gain repetitive practice with unique questions each time. Not only did this help with my perceptual abilities, it also helped immensely with my time management.
When it came to test day, I walked in feeling confident and well-prepared. The test itself felt like the many practice tests I had done before, and DATCrusher helped me get a score I was extremely proud of.
