2. Clinical Experiences

  • Clinical Curriculum Overview
    • D1: Students focus on the biomedical sciences and practice preclinical skills. Students participate in service-learning experiences through community outreach.
    • D2: Students continue biomedical science instruction while building their clinical care foundations. D2s screen patients for comprehensive care and assist on rotations in Urgent Care. Students start clinical patient care experiences this year.
    • D3: Students provide patient care in Group Practices, participate in elective seminars, and participate in service-based patient care rotations at local public schools.
    • D4: Students complete two 12-week clinical rotations at sites throughout Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Arkansas.
