2. Clinical Experiences

  • Clinical Curriculum Overview
    • D1: Dental students follow a course of study in basic medical sciences along with medical student colleagues. Dental students also complete courses in dental foundational sciences.
    • D2-D4: Clinical program begins. Clinical skills include patient assessment, treatment-planning, patient education, prevention of oral disease, control of pain and anxiety, prevention and management of dental and medical emergencies, and the diagnosis, management and treatment of the major oral diseases and conditions.
